Sometimes a little balloon will pop up, try clicking on it. Most times though, it just goes on ahead and installs whatever driver it feels like is needed. Also, try going into "Devices & Printers", right-click on your device, and click "Troubleshoot."

Hp pavilion dv2000 internal micro phone drivers free download

I dont know exact model of your dv2000 hp laptop is, there is many versions of them (as an example HP Pavilion dv2401tu).

Microphone drivers are part of the sound driver package. Suggest if you are running 7, go for the vista drivers. 7 32bit, vista 32bit drivers. 7 64bit, vista 64bit drivers.

Windows update is another option for finding sound drivers for the microphone.

The pc will not detect the wireless card. Already updated driver, BIOS, and tried a new card. I did update from Vista to 7 Professional.

Did the wireless card ever work? If it did work I would check to see if there's a physical switch on the laptop. Try switching it off then on. I would also try a different driver. Sometimes I've used an older or newer driver to get a wireless card to work. So if the driver that's installed is for Vista I would try obtaining one for Win 7. You could also try a wireless driver fro XP 64bit. I've found that some Manufacture's Web sites have several drivers listed for "network card" you could have a installed a "network card driver from HP's site but it might not be the correct version or manufacturer. From HP's site I don't see Win7 listed as an option. So you could have an incompatible driver installed. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&lc=en&product=3376893

One other item to check. If you had Vista 32bit installed originally then went to Win 7 64bit you could try the Vista 64bit driver.

If all else fails you could purchase a USB wireless device to make your laptop wireless again. I picked up a Trendent

32bit vista to 64bit win7

your recovery manager files should be on drive D or other partition. if not then its gone. but the operating system cd that goes with your laptop is still better than the factory default anyway but the thing is, youll need the cd everytime you want to reformat.

if i where you, il go for 32bit win 7 since your computer used to be a 32 bit vista. no worries about making the most out of your computer since win 7 eats less than vista anyway. and go for 32 bit since your laptop is made for 32 bit.

My windows not shwoing whole RAM size

What you are seeing is correct. You have 4GB of physical RAM installed in the computer and it is being recognized properly by the BIOS. A 32-bit operating system can only address approximately 3.5GB of RAM. Vista may be rounding the number down to 3GB or if you are using on-board video, some of the RAM is being allocated for use by the video circuitry and is not reported as system memory. To see all of the installed RAM in your operaing system, you need to upgrade to a 64-bit version of Vista.

System crashes and i have to reformat after installing msn premium software on new 64 bit vista laptop

you can downgrade to 32bit. you would have to reinstall windows using a 32bit cd. i would recommend it you wont see much of a difference. all programs where originally made for 32 bit. the only difference between the two is that 64bit supports more ram. like xp pro; 32bit will recognize 3.25gb as ram even if you have 4gb installed but other than that not much difference. personally i dont like any 64bit systems nor vista... but with 32bit you will be able to run a wider range of programs with no problem
