My Casio Exilim EX S-600 stopped working. I tried to charge &nada

My camera was working fine.  A few weeks later i tried to take some photos and the camera would not open.  I took it home to charge.  the red charge light came on and blinked.  even though i left it on overnight it never changed to green.  I took the battery out and it did not look corroded or anything.  I put it back in and tried to charge it.  Nothing.  I have a dead camera.  Do I need a new battery?  If so, where do I buy.  I FAX but do not buy on line.
Thanks Irma

The lense of the camera might be stuck, this happened to me. I fiddled with it abit and it turnt on (before it didnt turn on when the lense was stuck). Try this but if it does not work buy new rechargeable batteries at stores such as currys, maplin, pc world, some local supermarkets ect.
Otherwise go to the store you brought this from (with receipe) and ask for techniqucal support. This will be free of charge if they find that it is a manifactural problem.
Good luck

The cradle is defective.  Casio replaced the first one of mine for free then they told me to sit and spin when the second one broke 8 months later.  I had only used the camera ~ 10 times.  So, I went to a big box electonic store (Best Buy) and bought a Digipower travel charger.  It charged the battery up just fine.  I also bought a Dynex Memory Card Reader/Writer to transfer the photos to  my computer.  Good luck.  The defective cradle is a known problem that Casio is refusing to correct.

Casio ex-s880 model

It could be the battery isn't taking a charge. Since your purchased the camera last February you could be still covered under warranty. I would check with Casio.com. I found this link on their website:

I think, Charger is out of order and battery used all its charge, now charger is not functioning, so battery is not being charged. I mean no power from either side to camera.
Try to use another charger to charge battery.

Lens issue with my Casio EX-Z50

I don't believe a "lens error" can be fixed at home. That is something that is going to have to be sent in. Sometimes if repairing the camera costs more than what it's worth Casio will offer you a trade up to a different model. Call the repairs dept and ask them about that program. Their number is 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 1.
