Make sure you are using the most up-to-date browser.
The Hotmail web interface is designed to work with the most
recent iterations of the Internet
Explorer and Firefox browsers.
If you are using an old or unsupported browser, try updating
(or downloading) the newest Internet Explorer or Firefox browser.

Make sure your temporary files cache is cleared.
If Hotmail has updated its system recently and you have old
temporary files in your system memory, they can cause critical errors.
Create Menu tab right click
in the top of screen (toolbar) you will see a number of toolbar options select
the menu bar
This will
add to your screen toolbar File Edit View Favorites Tools
and Help
Go to your browser's "Tools" menu and select
"Options."
From the pop-up menu select the temporary cache files, then
use the "Clear" or "Delete" function. Then restart your
browser and try again.
Download the Microsoft XP patch.
If you are using the Windows XP operating system and are
still experiencing issues with the Hotmail interface, there is a patch you can
download to solve known issues between Windows XP and Hotmail.
