Timer
The timer could be the problem. To check this, turn the timer to a timed
cycle say 30 minutes or so then time it. If in 30 minutes the timer
hasn't moved and the dryer is still on, the timer is faulty replace it If in 30 minutes the dryer is off, the heating element is your problem
Heating Element
This is the most likely cause for some dryers timer not advancing. Some
dryers have two heating elements and if one goes out the timer will not
advance if you use it on an automatic cycle but you will still feel heat
inside the tub. Replace it
Good Morning friend, thank you for your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer, LEQ1442ES1, will run and then shut down after three or four minutes. I would recommend a reset on your dryer which you can do by unplugging your power cord for roughly ten minutes.
If that does not correct the issue it sounds like a potential problem with your control panel or a sensor. I would suggest having a professional come out and repair your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Usually answered in minutes!
Tried vacuuming the lint screen and slot. To vacuum slot, remove plastic mesh behind lint screen (by removing the two Philips head screws which fasten it to inside of dryer). Used slot attachment on vacuum cleaner to clean down into the slot. ALSO, vacuum around the two wires and where they feed into the plastic mesh. These are sensors. There was lint around these wires and where they fed into the sensors. It worked! Ran dryer for several MINUTES before shutting it down... it didn't do that before the cleaning :O)
