When I dial out on my 1983 darth vader speakerphone all I get is a busy signal. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Just for some information, I get a dial tone, the red light is lit on vader's chest and I can receive calls and speak and hear clearly when it rings and I answer.

This phone was made when most phone companies were still using non touchstone systems. When you dial you can hear it simulate an older rotary dial phone. This was how the earliest touch button phones worked. I am not sure the phone company''s systems are still compatible with the rotary systems. Mine does the same thing when dialing out, but receives a call perfectly.

SOURCE: I just bought a 1983 Darth Vader Speaker Phone AS

I have the same phone but it does not require any power adapter, just the phone line. Mine does have a plug for headphones. If you plug in the phone line and push the on/off button it should work. If it does not work there might be something wrong with the phone.

How can I get the darth vader lap top to work? I just put brand new batteries in it. Is there a button to push? Nothing happens.

I recommend going here and either calling or emailing, since their website doesn't want to link to actual manuas for their products:

Good luck, and I hope this helps!

I have a Darth Vador 1983 speakerphone but it needs an adapter and the phone does not specify what kind. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have the same 1983 Darth Vader phone but mine does not require a power adapter. If you plug in the phone line and push the on/off button you should hear a dial-tone. Mine does have a spot on the back of base to plug in headphones or a microphone, I'm not sure which.

GMC 2004 Sierra conditioner makes Darth Vader noises

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. Does the air conditioning works properly it's just the sound problem and did it happens suddenly?
For the strange sound, it could be normal and not.
I imagine the sound comes from the exchange pressure between the low pressure and high pressure.
To fix or knowing what is wrong you will have to get AC/pressure gauge install on AC/pressure tap under the hood and sync the compressor engaging clutch if it happens at the same time that the sound you are talking about.
Pretty hard to tell online without earing it. But I ever listen to a sound similar to that.

hope it helps
