The spray arms might be clogged. This happens often when you live in an area with hard water. To tell, see this map: http://www.citriclean.net/why-citriclean/

SOURCE: KENMORE DISHWASHER WATER DOESN'T SPRAY.

If there's no water entering your dishwasher, check these:

Water-inlet valve
Float switch
Water-inlet valve
The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. If this valve is defective, you need to completely
replace it. It's usually located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side. It's the device
with the main water line (usually copper) from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two
wires attached to it.

Float switch
The float switch is a small electrical switch that's located right below the dishwasher "floor."
Above the switch, on the inside of the dishwasher, is a plastic cylinder that floats up as water fills
the dishwasher. If this switch is defective, or if the plastic float gets caught or trapped in the raised
position, the water can't enter the dishwasher. If the float switch is defective, you need to replace it.

SOURCE: I have a Fridgidaire Ultra Quiet I dishwasher. The

Remove the 2 screws that hold the bottom kickplate on to ensure that the wash motor has not come unplugged. It happens more than you'd think. If it is plugged in, if you have a multimeter, just check if you have 110v to the wash motor...if you do, then the motor has failed and should be replaced

Water not spraying out hard enough

Check water inlet valve (solenoid) for a clogged inlet screen and for proper operation (ensure full opening of the valve); check the main(undersink) water connection for an obstruction or partially closed valve, and check the lines/tubes throughout for obstructions - scale, collapsed line, etc.

Maytag Quiet Series 300 - it seems like the soap door is not opening and when it does the soap packets are not dissolving. I cleaned out all of the spray arms. That did not help. What else can I do??

  1. Be sure that you don't have something large blocking the dispenser door like a cutting board.
  2. Make sure the water temp is 125 degrees going into the dishwasher. Cold water won't break down detergent correctly.
  3. Make sure your getting water pressure: Run your dishwasher on normal. Wait until the cycle starts and the spray arms are spraying. Turn a cup right side up to catch water on the top rack if you run the dishwasher and wait 20 sec that cup should be half or full. If you don't have water in the cup you could have poor water pressure from your pump. This could indicate 1. Worn motor 2. Clogged pump
Have a great day!

It's Leaking Water!

Most common reason is that the lower spray arm splits on the seem and sprays water under the door, to proove if it is this remove lower spray arm and run through program if no leak fit new arm. Regards Advisor
