Can I use another phone provider sim card in phone

PUK number can only be obtained from the service provider's SIM card.
Remove the SIM card from the phone.
Record the serial number (MSISDN / ICCID) available on your SIM card.
Contact your service provider SIM card (or via online).
Give information that you will be asked for the PUK number.
Customer Service from SIM card service provider will ask a serial number (MSISDN / ICCID) of your card (instead of your phone number), and will provide its PUK numbers.
Insert the SIM card, turn on the phone, and enter the PUK number.
Filling the PUK numbers should not be any more than 10x. Because if that happens, your SIM card can not be used at all.

Sim cards are manufactererd accordign to phone types. However physically compartible sim cards usually are least functional with another device not intended to communicate. The sim card provides the link of communication also once established should not be tempered with else distorts the communications linkage. The code is the protection key that identifies the sim card to the phone that you own. First, tempering with a sim card during a functioning phones capability distracts from the service communcation provider. As a security medium, so after the sim card has been dislodged, the signal connection is by passed requirng a reset from the provider technitian. The cell phone's number is provided by the cell phone service provider together with the SIM card.
If the existing SIM card is a prepaid SIM card you will need to purchase a new pre-paid SIM card from a cell phone service provider and a cell phone number will be allocated to this SIM card.

Purchase a cell phone plan with a cell phone service provider and you will get a new SIM card with an allocated cell phone number.

Try default codes

puk code, personal unlocking key. It is sim card related / specific, if you take the sim card out from the phone, the phone will work with another sim card.

The puk comes up when the pin code has been entered wrong 3 times. To get the puk code for your sim card, you have to call the service provider of that sim card. They are the only ones who can provide you with the right puk code for that sim card.

The puk code may also have came with the documentation of the sim card, if its a prepaid card the puk code comes on the documents or on the box of the product.

if your unable to obtain the puk code, get a new sim card.

also entering the puk code wrong too many times will eventually ruin the sim card forcing you to buy or contact your service provider for a new sim card.

The first step is to find out if the password is on your sim card. If you already know that it is on your sim card skip this step. Turn off your phone and open it up. You should see your battery. On most phones your sim card is located under the battery. When you find your sim card remember exactly how it goes into it's slot and take it out. Put the battery back into the phone and turn it back on. It will tell you that your sim card is missing and on most phones ask you if you want to start without a sim card. Press yes and see if it asks you for your password. If it does not, then the password is on yor sim card. Put the sim card back into your phone and call your service provider. Tell them that you forget the password to turn on your phone. They should be able to tell you what yor password is after they ask you a few questions. If the password was not on your sim card, then call your cell phone provider and ask them how to reset your password. Try inserting the sim card in another phone. If it still doesn't work, the problem could really be with the sim card. Go to your service provider, and request for your sim card number transfered to another sim card. That is if you wanna keep the same number. You could request for another sim card if you'd like. Call your service provider.
