Switching Back to Windows Platform Moving from the outlook version from windows to mac was easy, with import/export function. But it seems that this process is irreversible. I am trying to move back to windows platform, need to transfer all my emails from outlook 2011 to outlook 2007. The import/export function doesn't seem to work in this case. What are the other options available???
You
can either use an IMAP or Exchange e-mail account: All e-mails in these
accounts will show up automatically on the Windows side (and with
Exchange,
in addition to e-mails, you'll get contact and events as well).
Or you can try the following Windows Outlook Import

Hi,
Its easier to switch from Windows to Mac with Outlook Mails. however the reverse isn't possible directly. You will need to convert the existing OLM files to PST. You can create an IMAP server and drag-and-drop every mail manually to the server followed by the conversion. Benefit is you will save money. Demerits are- loss of mail folder structure, contacts and time.
Otherwise, you may choose a third party tool that overcomes all the demerits of the manual process. I use OLM to PST converter Ultimate for past couple of years. With time, it has only come up with better features. http://download.cnet.com/OLM-to-PST-Converter-Ultimate/3000-2369_4-76144899.html

Ok, so you imported your mail to outlook. Then you didn't like the program, so you exported the mail out of outlook. I am assuming you used outlooks export feature, found under the file menu on the top. When you hit export you get the option to name the export file, choose where you want it saved, and choose what type of export file you want to make. Outlook can export a file into many different file types that many different e-mail clients can use. That being said, if you are using the web based comcast e-mail there isn't a way for you to import e-mail into it. Depending on how you set up the outlook account it may have been storing a copy of all the mail it downloaded in both outlook and on the web site based e-mail. As I said, this is entirely based on the settings you selected, if you told it to delete the mail from the server when outlook retrieved it then you're out of luck there. Website based (POP) e-mail accounts are limited in functionality, but tend to be designed for the basic end user in mind. So you're going to lack a lot of the features an actual program like outlook would give you. Peter

Try this:
Make sure the Outlook is close and that you have close it from the task manager.
Click Start>RUN and then type outlook.exe /resetfolders then press enter. This will reopen Outlook and it will ask you to log in. Log in then see if this fixes your problem.
