Login ymail

"Ymail," a division of Yahoo!, is not the same as the Yahoo! email service.
The main different revolves around the URL at the end of your email address.

Instead of "@yahoo.com" these addresses are written as "@ymail.com."
This slight variation might confuse you about how to log into your Ymail account.

The login instructions are similar to that of Yahoo! mail. Additionally, you can recover your ID or password if you have forgotten it.

Visit the Yahoo! login page by typing "ymail.com" into the URL bar.
This takes you to both the Yahoo! email sign in and the Ymail sign in.

Type your username into the "Yahoo! ID" box.
This is the part of your email address that comes before "@ymail.com."

Type in your password.
If your password doesn't work, or you don't remember it, choose the blue "I Can't Access My Account" from the bottom of the sign in box.

Choose the option that describes your situation best. Options include: "I Forgot My Password", "My Password Doesn't Work", "I Forgot My Yahoo! ID" and "My Account May Have Been Compromised". Press "Next."

Follow the on-screen directions to set a new password or recover your ID.

Ymail create id

Ymail is a subsidiary email client under the Yahoo domain. Ymail provides free, open source Web mail services for Internet users.
Created as a partner to Yahoo RocketMail, Ymail was implemented to help triple the size of the existing Yahoo emailing server, which already has more than 200 million users.
Making a Ymail ID requires the creation of a Ymail email address directly through Yahoo.
Access the Yahoo Account Registration page at yahoo.com (see Bottom of page).
Type your first name and last name in the proper data fields at the top of the Yahoo Account Registration page.

Click the "Gender" drop-down bar and select "Male" or "Female."
Click the "Birthday" drop-down bar and provide the month of your birthday.
Then, enter the day and year for your birthday in the applicable data fields.
Enter your five-digit postal code in the data field directly below the drop-down bar for your country.
Type a unique name in the Yahoo! ID and email text field.
Then, click the "yahoo.com" drop-down bar, and change the setting to "Ymail.com."

Click "Check" to verify that your desired Ymail ID is available.
(If the Ymail ID is not available, alternatives will be generated, but you can also manually change the ID until you find one that is available.)

Create a password for the Ymail ID account and email account.
Then, re-type the password in the corresponding data field for verification.

Provide an alternative email address for account safety and security purposes.
Click one of the security questions in the corresponding drop-down bar.
Then, provide an answer to the question as an alternative method to verify your account or retrieve your account password.
(An alternative email address and security questions are not mandatory but can be beneficial if you ever lose or forget your Ymail account password.)

Enter the characters in the security code box below the registration data fields.
Click the "Create My Account" button at the bottom of the registration page.
The site will redirect to the new Ymail ID account page.

Create A Yahoo Email Address
Yahoo offers free email accounts with add-ons such as a calendar, notepad and an automatic organizer.
Your Yahoo account is Web-based, so you can access your messages anywhere you have an Internet connection.
Once you complete the simple one-page registration form, you will also have access to all of Yahoo's features.
You can use your new email address to sign into Flickr, Yahoo Answers, Messenger and a variety of games and fantasy sports leagues.

Click the "Sign Up" link that appears below the "Sign In" option on the Yahoo homepage to create a new account.
Enter your name, gender, address and birth date on the appropriate lines.
Choose your Yahoo username.
Your username will also be your email address. Make sure "Yahoo.com" is selected from the drop-down list next to the email address.
Click the "Check" button to see if your desired email address is available.
Enter your desired password on both of the required lines.
The password must be typed exactly the same on both lines.
You will see a "Password Strength" bar indicating how difficult your password will be for a hacker to guess.
Select a "secret question" from the drop-down menu.
Yahoo will use this question to verify your identity if you lose your password.
Enter the answer to the question you chose from the menu.
Repeat this process to choose your second "secret question" and answer.
There is also an optional line where you can enter an alternate email address for Yahoo to send you password resetting instructions.
Enter the letters and numbers displayed in the image on the screen into the "image verification" line.
This proves that you are a human and not an automated script designed to open new Yahoo accounts.
Click the "Create My Account" button when you are finished completing all of the input boxes. You will then see your account details displayed on the screen.
You can print this page for your records, if needed.
Click "Continue" to proceed to your new email account.

I cannot access my mail

Ymail is part of Yahoo Mail. In order to provide users with more combinations for email addresses, Yahoo introduced another email extension called Ymail. Ymail accounts look like [email protected]. Ymail allows users whose desired email address was already taken to create their desired address and still have all the same features as Yahoo Mail. Accessing a Ymail account is quick and easy and can be done from any web browser.

1. Create a Ymail account, if you don't already have one. Open a browser window and type "http://mail.yahoo.com" and click "Sign Up" under "Don't Have a Yahoo ID?" section.
Fill in the appropriate information in each blank in section 1. This section is for your name, gender, birthday and location.
In section 2, choose a Yahoo ID/email address. In the drop down box beside the email address text box, choose "ymail.com." Press "Check" to see if the email address is available. If it's not available for use, choose another address, but keep the "ymail.com" domain the same.
Choose two security questions in section 3. This are necessary in case you forget your password. The alternate email address is optional.
Type in the security code at the bottom of the screen and press "Create My Account."

2. Open a browser window and type "http://mail.yahoo.com" to access the Ymail login screen.

3.Type your full email address in the "YahooID" box. Be sure to include the "@ymail.com" or the address will not be recognized. Using the full address distinguishes Ymail accounts from Yahoo or Rocketmail accounts.

4. Type your password in the "Password" box. Your password is case sensitive. Press "I Can't Access My Account" if you've forgotten your password. You can either have the password sent to another email address or change it altogether after answering the security questions you set up during the account creation process.

5. Press "Sign In" to access the Ymail account.
