so why not copy the music to the tablet?

First you must know what format your tablet can play. Not all MP4 formats are the same. Perhaps you even have to install a video player app.Then you have to convert all content to the format your tablet can play, and then you can copy it to the tablet, using a cable, or an SD card. (if your tablet has a slot for that)

Just download a correct app from android, or download on your computer and than copy the show to your tablet. Perhaps you should pay a fee, in the place you live.
Did you try Google TV? (not for free)

Drivers are generally USB and would be computer operating system dependent. ( Android devices use "ADB" ).

I have had the same issue with this tablet. After weeks of looking around on the net i have found a way to reset the tablet to factory settings when the power and vol down button will not work.

1. Download the firmware from the proscan website. http://www.proscanvideo.com/item.asp?itemnmbr=PLT8235G.

2. unzip the file and copy the files update.zip recovery.img and factory_update_param.aml to an external micro sd card.

3. Plug the tablet in and insert the sd card. Press the power button to see the battery icon then press the power button 5 times. Then let it run for 4 minutes and it should be set back to factory settings.

****NOTE***** If it fails to update then you still have the access to the recovery menu where you can do the factory wipe and still reset it.

Memory or space? The pics only take up space not memory.
To gain memory you have to move or delete apps that run at startup. That's what takes up memory. You have a cord that can hook up to your laptop or desktop. You can move pics that way.

Sorry, I have no solution to offer. I am in the same situation and resets aren't working. Wondering if OS is deleted and if so, how to reinstall. So frustrating!
