While Fedders no longer manufactures central air or window air conditioners, you may still be able to find comparable parts like run capacitors, condenser coils, hoses, and capillary tubes. Repair Clinic encourages you to type the full model number of your product into our website's search bar for a complete list of parts that will work with your model. You can use the part category and part title filters to refine your search. Having trouble identifying the part you want? Give our Customer Service Team a call at 1-800-269-2609 and they'll be happy to give you advice.
More suppliers here, but you will only get the kit if someone has an old one lying around.
you might have gotten them wet~ take the switch out~if you can~you will have to take the door panel off to do this~ once the inside panel is off you can get to the switches~ you can try blowing them out~ maybe dust got in between the connections~ maybe you accidently got them wet~ so get a air hose and try to blow them out~ then try the switches again! For sure they work individually????? If they do~then you need to get the main switch replaced~~ call any of the local parts stores! I would call around! The dealer will be the most expensive! ~ Once you have the new part it is easy from there~ If you have a local junk yard~ sometimes they will sell those parts cheap too~~ but you never know if that part worked fully~ that is the gamble.
This is for the rickyman's rear window problem. I had a car that I had this problem with. Inside the panel there is a plastic part that requenlty breaks after years of use that usually needs replacing. The hard part is that you have to take the panel off the inside of the door to see if the part has broken and to replace it. that is the only way you will know for sure but I would bet money that's what it is. part not very much but my dad pulled the panel off for me and installed new part and window was good as new. If you can pull panel off yourself you will save some money.
Sadly this company seems to be out of business and parts unavailable. You can get vent hose at lowes. I attached the hose to a unit with a couple of small metal brackets, zip ties and vent tape. For the window part, I cut a piece of plywood, painted it white and cut a hole for the vent hose. Attached it with zip ties and silver vent tape.
The parts' arrangement is similar to several Whirlpool model. The pump motor is located under the bottom place and it is accessed removing the front kick panel (in front at the bottom).
Here a movie showing the procedure on a Whirlpool similar to your Blanco. I also tried to describe the procedure below. Check also the parts diagram for your model at the end of this comment. Sometimes it is not necessary to lean the appliance on one side, depending on how you can reach pump motor and hoses. See movie and description.
To remove the old motor you need to:
Disconnect power.
Move appliance forward.
Disconnect drain and inlet hoses and remove water from tub (if any).
Remove baskets or anything else from inside the machine.
Remove spray arms and remove the assembly at the bottom of the machine.
Put some clothes or towels on floor and lean the machine on one side.Water will leak out, the clothes will help here.
Take the kick panel in front off.
Undo the screws that hold the pump to the machine cabinet.
Use a flat screwdriver to loose the clip holding the hoses. Loose the clip but do not open it completely (it will help later).
Pull off the two hoses.
Disconnect the electrical connector to the pump
Lift the pump motor and pull it out from cabinet.
To put in new pump.
Insert the two hoses on new pump.
Set the clips.
Put the pump motor in place inside the cabinet.
Arrange hose and pump motor correctly and put screws back.
Reconnect the wiring connector.
Lift up the appliance.
Put back spray arms and internal assembly.
Before putting on the front panel:
Connect power and test for leaks.
Disconnect power and fix any leak present (adjust hoses).
If there is no leak put panel back.
Set back the appliance and connect power.
Always observe strictly health and safety prescription. Disconnect power before performing any maintenance. Beware of panel's sharp edges, particularly when removing kick panel and accessing parts in the tight space under the bottom of the tub.
Here is a link to where you may be able to find the part(s) you need. Have your Model Number handy, when searching for the right window adapter or hose end.
You will need to remove the fridge and set it on the floor or at least pull it forward enough to reach the top of the drain hose. There is clip that holds the drain tube to a nipple that sticks out of the back of the fridge that will need to be removed. Remove this clip and the drain hose should pull right off. Route the new drain hose down through the cooling unit coils to the door panel. Attach it back to the nipple with the clip and you should be good to go. The part number for the new drain hose is 2932749019.
