I have a Ms PacMan table, and I entered the test menu to put it on cocktail cabinet mode, and to turn on free play, but now I am on a screen called I/O Test. I son't know how to get passed this screen. I am assuming that I have to press all the buttons to test them and when I press the buttons on the screen, the text on the screen labeling the button changes from blue to red. But I can not find the buttons "P1 S3", "P2 S3", and "SERVICE". Can somebody tell me where these buttons are?

SOURCE: I have a new arcade cocktail table with 60 games

I feel your pain. BUt if it were me, I"d call the company that you bought this lomon from and demand your money back. I t is obviousyou paid big $$ for it, now, they want You to be the troubleshooter and fix it yourself. SInce you are not a tech, you need to tell those A holes that you wil lnot attempt to fix something that is their fault. After 2 days, they should picp up the unit, or send another one. IN fact, I would not want another item from this company.

If you paid by credit card, or PayScam, you may have recourse in getting a refund.
I would strongly suggest that you DO NOT work on it anymore. That is not your job.

Please don't just shrug this off, feeling ripped off. DO SOMETHING about it, demand your money back as you did not get what you paid for. There are laws in every state that say that a piece of merchandise has the expectation to perform as it is stated. You should NOT mess with it at all.
So, don't roll over and let these idiots take advantage of you. Make the call and tell them to send someone out to fix the damn thing, or take it back. I know you've waited many years for one, but this is not it. Those mods are all over the place for sale, so don't think you have a one of a kind item. There are others, from more relaible sellers.

Hope this makes sense to you and you stop fooling with it yourself.

Let me say that if you mess with it, they could say thet YOU messed it up.
. So leave it alone.
Good luck :)

Are they in the same state you are in?

I have A cocktail Mrs Pacman Was Working Perfect Then One Day I turned It on And It Comes Up with Lots Of Numbers And Letters Then It Will eventualy Come To the Mrs Pacman Screen As Soon As i Start To play...

Your coin op video game most likely has electronics that are deteriorating due to age and dust. It's actually a pretty common occurrence with older coin op machines. Components like capacitors degrade over time and eventually the electrolyte leaks out, contaminates the PCB, and the analog and power support circuits fail. The dust that builds up on the PCBs absorbs moisture from the air over time and can eventually bridge electrical contacts causing shorts that can lead to all kinds of problems.
Your best option IMO is to simply look for a local arcade and coin op machine repair service. The Internet should be a good place to start. If you are still having difficulty finding someone to repair it, simply ask around at any arcade or other location near you that has coin op machines and they should be able to point you to people who repair them.

When turned on it goes to a count down screen(loading) and keeps going threw couter cycle and does not boot game

Is the service switch turned on?

Have you checked the DIP switches to see if they are in the right positions? IIRC< there was a setting to keep the game from booting and in diagnostic or freeze mode.

Do you have the manual for this machine? There is one online for download free.

No power from board to monitor

Check all fuses and power supply to the board. The monitor uses a seperate circuit, thus comes on independently of the board.

Check all plugs to the monitor, and all grounds. You should be able to get a manual online of this unit.

Ms pacman from free play to pay play

You'll need to open the cabinet and locate the game board to make this change (be sure to turn the machine off first, and it's a good idea to use some sort of anti static device on yourself before handling game boards). Inspect the game board and you should notice a bank of tiny switches (these are called dip switches). If your game is in Free Play mode, switches #1 and #2 are both "On". Here's how you can change it:

Switch 1 Switch 2 Mode
------------ ------------- ----------
Off On 1 Coin - 1 Play
On Off 1 Coin - 2 Plays
Off Off 2 Coins - 1 Play
On On Free Play

I hope this helps!

PACMAN GALAGA COCKTAIL TABLE

Use the joystick controller's right and left to select options, and then use either one of the buttons to make your selection. The button with 1 human stick figure next to it is the Player 1 button, and the one with two stick figures is the Player 2 button. Unless the defaults were changed on that machine, 1 quarter is required for 1 player and 2 quarters are required for two players. I haven't used one of these machines since the original from 1982 to 1986. I can't believe it, but Namco actually has put a PDF of the service manual for this unit on their website:
http://www.namcoamerica.com/games/pacman/downloads/ms%20pacman%20galaga%20cocktail.pdf

Have fun! I would love to have one of these on day.
