I have bought a used Quasar TV (there is not model number). It is working with cable. It bought the HRS universal remote control model URC 855, but it does not include Quasar in the code list . its not likely you will find a universal remote that will work with a "Quasar" product. Quasar was actually Panasonic model line and has not been around since the 1980's. If you have a universal remote- try using the Panasonic codes and see if that works... if it does not, try the Philips codes and RCA codes.
All of the old recognizable "american brand names" have been purchased by The Chinese and are usually made from Philips parts ( Philips is also know as Magnavox and Sylvania)
press tv button and hold it down, While holding down tv button put in code (for Quasar tv: 1054), light will go off then back on when code is entered, release tv button and now remote should be programed
