Yes you can upgrade the graphics card, you have integrated graphics but you can purchase a PCI-E graphics card and bypass the on board graphics but keep in mind you'll have to buy a "low profile" graphics card as there's not much room in your case and a full size card will not fit.

How do i enable wireless connection in my emachine model el1358g

The Emachines EL1358 has a wired LAN connection. To add a wireless connection, you need an USB wireless network adapter or an add-on wireless network adapter card. The internal card options may depend on exactly which EL1385 model you have. The EL1385G-51W has a PCIe x16 and a PCIe x1 slot. The card will probably need a low-profile bracket to fit in the case. (If both slots are in use, you'd need to remove one of the cards and replace it with the wireless adapter.) See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/391363/Emachines-El1358.html for information on adding a card to the desktop.

Check that the card has a driver for your machine's OS version. (The EL1358 came with Windows 7. Windows 10 x64 requires signed drivers, if you upgraded to that OS version.) Follow the directions for the wireless adapter to determine if you need to install the drivers before connecting the USB adapter or installing the card. If there is no CD or USB flash drive with the adapter packaging, you will need to either download the driver files at another computer or use the wired LAN connection to obtain the drivers. (Use the wired LAN to connect to your WAN or router to obtain the drivers if they come from Windows.)

Once the drivers are installed, then you can enable the wireless connection. For several versions of Windows, go to the Control Panel. Find the section on Networking. Choose Connect to a Network. See if your wireless network SSID is listed. If needed, go to the Network and Sharing Center. Then find and click on the link for Set up a new network connection. You may need to Manually connect to a wireless network if the SSID of the wireless network is not being broadcast.

I hope this helps.

(note: slight differences exist in the placement of the network control panel options between Windows versions. I usually can find which one I want but have to poke around at times.)

I have emachine model el1358g-51w. When turning pc on the monitor shuts down. I need to unplug and replug the power cable to monitor and it turns on again. I've tried replacing the power ca

The model number you gave did not include a monitor. Can you give details about the monitor itself like manufacturer and model number? Is the monitor an older style big and deep or an LCD panel style? The symptom you describe seems typical of some kind of electrical protection disconnecting power to the monitor same way as a circuit breaker in your house.

OH, C'MON I'M JUST KIDDING!

1) Is the computer dirty inside?

The two major issues with desktop computer failure, is the computer is dirty inside; and Power Supply failure.

Post back in a Comment. We'll start here.

Be prepared for a 'Windy' tech. You may do so much reading, you'll feel like you are back in school.

(I explain in detail, as if you know absolutely nothing about your computer. Just the way I ride )

El1358g-51w loaded drivers so far and then stopped error message read i had to restart and it would load and did not

You will have to reboot into safe mode to remove those drivers from the device manager and then reboot and allow windows to find the drivers it wants and not the drivers you think are the right ones because sometimes a flaky driver will stop windows cold and lock it into a loop forever.
If you do not know how to boot into safe mode, when you turn on your computer, the moment you see anything on your monitor start rapidly pressing the F8 key until you get a boot screen that has a choice of booting into safe mode, then follow the directions and when you finally get into windows go to the device manager, (in most windows will either be accessible from the control panel or from the control panel then clicking on system>then hardware tab>then device manager button.
Good luck!

Replace power supply

Be sure to look on back of tower to see what power you need. The power plug needs to be 115v or 125v on most. Be sure your cord is the same voltage.
