SOURCE: standby

Try this: Unplug the recorder from power source for about 5 minutes and then reconnect. It will ask you to go through the Easy Setup first. Once you do this, you can set up the command mode.

Hi,
Slide remote lower cover and look for DVD Command mode set switch, set it to DVD-3 position, your RDR-VX530 will accept remote commands.

It depends on which DVD you are stuck. Use the following numbers to resolve the problem. DVD1 = 1, DVD2 = 2, Aand DVD3 = 3.

Please hold the ENTER button. While holding down the enter button press the corresponding number button (ie, 1 or 2 or 3)

Hold down the ENTER button and the relevant number button (1,2,or3) for more than 5 seconds.

Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR EX95VEBS remote control only displays DVD3 how can I reset this to get back to proper functions?

Dear FixYa
Thank you for your support. I have solved the problem on my DVD Recorder by reading other peoples solutions to this problem. My DVD display was showing DVD3 and all buttons would not work. So on the handset I pressed the ENTER/OK button and no. 3 button together for a few seconds, this cleared DVD3. I was so pleased that this worked. croneruk, 6/10/2008
