How to shut off F10 alarm on Frigidaire Gallery oven?

follow the next steps and proceed with commong sense: God bless you
Inspect the area around and behind the oven to ensure you did not place the oven next to a source of heat, such as a register vent or other appliance that becomes very hot. If this is the case, you must remove the oven from the heat source to prevent the issue from occurring again.

  • 2 Inspect the oven to ensure all vents on the oven are open and unblocked. This includes heat vents that vent to the outside of the home. Remove any clogs from the oven's venting and check to see if the code reappears.

  • 3 Inspect all of the wiring harnesses that connect to the MCU. Remove the back cover from the control panel with a screwdriver. Look for disconnected harnesses or any harnesses with black residue on them. This indicates an issue with the MCU. Remove the bolts that secure the MCU to the control panel housing and then replace the MCU with a new one. Reconnect all of the harnesses and retest.

F 11 error keeps coming up, I can hear a switch in the back of the unit clicking. I'll tap the back of the machine and the unit starts back up and clears the alarm. It's starting to occur more often now...

HI. This is a wiring harness issue.

Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.

    Possible Causes / Procedure

    1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
    2. Check wire harness connections to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
    3. Check the drive system for any worn or failed components.
    4. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
    5. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle.
    6. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor.
    7. Check the drive motor for powered rotations.
    8. Check that the serial harness at the MCU is not mounted upside down. The wires should be to the left when facing the MCU connectors.

Replace failed component.( the likely culprit will be a failed harness if the MCU is operational, but if the harness is connected properly, and with no corroded or loose contacts, replace the MCU)
