Error code reset on Classixx 6 1200 Express

The post above is correct, just missing one detail, see below;

You can reset the error code by the follow steps.
Turn the knob to the off or reset position, 12 o'clock.
Turn the knob to the 6 o'clock position. Wait for Error code to flash
Press and hold the spin button and while holding the spin button turn the knob to the 7 o'clock position (Drain position)
Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds then release the spin button and now turn the knob to off. Wait 5 seconds
When you turn it back on it should have cleared the error code.

SOURCE: changing brushes on motor of Bosch WFL 2450 washing machine

Remove rear panel of washer, and undo 2 screws that secure the motor, lever motor back with a screwdriver or similar, and unplug motor lead.
Be sure to keep hold of the motor so it does not drop on the floor.
You will see the brushes at the terminal end of motor, remove and replace.

Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Bosch Maxx Instruction Manual

F:16 - Doors are not properly closed. Check the doors are closed with no obstacles.

F:17 - Water is not running. Check the tap, hose and filters. Also water pressure can be low.

F:18 - Too much water remaining. Stop the drying program and start Spin program. Otherwise something is bolcking the water exit from the machine.

BOSCH MAXX CLASSIC E2 error reset, has water and drained, but the machine did not run/spin.

FROM FIXYA

Sanja Salatic NOV 29, 2009

The e2 error is a generic error that the machine shows if it's been overloaded or if the load becomes unbalanced during a wash cycle.

to fix you must do a master reset of the washing machine.

1. Close the door and make sure the dial is pointing to the "OFF" function
2. Hold the Start/Pause button and turn the dial anti clockwise (to the left) to the "express 15 min" program at the same time.
3. Hold the Start/Pause button for a minute (the e2 message is meant to start flashing after a minute of holding the button down however with my washing machine this didn't happen)
4. Release the button and turn the dial back to the "Off" function.
5. Select any program and the message should not be appearing.

I have a Bosch Maxx WFL 1662 washing machine. It does not stop washing and go over to the rinses sickle.Where do i start looking for the problem?

Hi Eric, There's two links below... 1st link is Bosch Washing Machine Error Fault Codes and the 2nd link is worth reading, The master reset is only part of the trouble shooting, I hope these help.
To perform the Master Reset, carefully unplug the washing machine from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for one minute. After one minute is up, plug the washer cord back into the wall. Next, open and close the door of the washing machine 6 times within 12 seconds to send a "reset" signal to all the components. (This is a common fix that many appliance repair mechanics use - it works on about 50% of all washing machines.) Once the reset has been completed set the washer to do a small load with no clothes in the washer. See if the washer goes through with the cycle as normal. If the washer performs correctly, then it has been reset and is fixed. If not refer to more troubleshooting techniques and causes of problems below.
