SOURCE: Will a Husqvarna #1 Plus embroidery unit work on a Husqvarna Rose machine?

I am sorry to inform you that Husqvarna # 1 embroidery unit does not fit onto the Rose machine. The terminals on the Rose is upright, while on the H # 1 it is flat. If you want to do embroidery on the Rose, you will have to purchase the embroidery unit.

Sad but true

Try another design. If the problem continues, it may be time for a service call at an authorized husqvarna viking dealer. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

The tension control has a screw on the inside wall of the sewing machine. It probably came loose and will not allow the tension to pull taught. If you take the top off you can look down to where the tension knob is coming from. There is a screw that you can tighten while you push forward on the tension knob while set to zero. Keep the presser foot up.

go to the Husqvarna Viking website to locate the nearest Viking dealer. Viking does not allow their dealers to sell parts and accessories over the internet

Look for a presser foot "adapter" for your sewing machine. You may even find something on eBay that will work. The other option is to look for a snap-on kit for your particular machine--even though you are getting a kit, the cost may be less than looking for an adapter for your machine.

I was sewing with my Singer Confidence 7470 when it suddenly would not pick up the bobbin thread. I changed the needle, re-threaded the machine, and checked that the bobbin case is clean and in correctly...

Yes, try looking very closely at the needle assembly. Make sure the new needle is loaded with the flat side against the arm that holds it. If the machine is only a few months old, it's probably under warrantee. There should be a number to call on the serial plate. If all else, call the store you purchased it from. Sometimes they have sales people who are well versed with their equipment and can help you but I bet the needle is facing the wrong direction when you replaced it. Find any broken pieces of needle and remove them too. Look with a flashlight. I hope this helps!

The large wheel on the side of the machine that pulls out to thread a bobbin is probably pulled out. Push it in and the rest of the features should work.

Husqvarna Rose embroidery unit stopping mid picture.

Could be the design you're trying to stitch out is eroded. Try rewriting the design to the card and see if that helps. If not, take your machine along with the embroidery unit, peddle, hoops, etc. to your tech for a once over. It may just need an adjustment.
