The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).
click start click on my computer to open from there you should see your cd: disk then right click to open you should find the photos in there select one or all of them by right clicking on them select copy
click start all programs accessories open windows explorer navigate to your destination folder usually in my documents my pictures
right click on the photo's select copy navigate back to the photo folder right click select paste or
select the top photo hold the mouse cursor then select the bottom photo then drag the photos to your photo folder then drop them
or if you are downloading photos from the internet
once it starts downloading windows will ask whether you want to run or save it
a browse option will open you can save it into a folder in my documents or another device or a usb device
