Hi there, my SAMSUNG 50" rear projector TV works fine for about 6 - 8 weeks. Them, it would "beep-beep" when trying to switch on. I then disconnect the set, and move it to the spare room - and leave it there for a month or so. When connecting, all works fine and the process repeats itself. Pls help/assist. Kind Regards.

Hi 'guly' - could you be more specific to where I can find this capacitor/s? Is it on the PSU or display/configuration system-board?
I read that it might be the cooling fans, I looked at the unit - any sorry to say but can't find any cooling fan in size/shape?
Samsung service in Cape Town, South-Arica is VERY-VERY bad.
I agree - one should always trust God.
When the unit is disconnected from the mains, is there any danger similiar to a TV, that you still can get a nasty shock - from high-voltage tubes/transformers??
I will try this weekend to find and replace the capacitor.
