Where do I find the serial number on my sole e35 elliptical? Thanks !

E35 - Copied from E25 answer - on the front of the machine, right under the display, on the back side, there is a pyramid shaped piece of plastic wrapped around the middle bar. Pry it up with a screwdriver (if needed but it should slide), it should unsnap, and will reveal the mythical red serial number. And it should also be on the warranty registration card.

Why is the the resistance on my sole e55 remaining easy to spin regardless of which resistance setting I select?

Belt could have come off. if the belt did break or come of it would be very easy to spin pedals. Flywheel ( brake ) could have jammed up. Loosen the covers and look for the brake cable that's connected to the resistance motor. Then run the resistance up to 20. If cable feels loose , the brake is stuck. Sometimes you can pull on the cable and it will free it up.

Sole E55 console display flashing "Need Lube"

Got a Sole elliptical machine? Is it displaying a NEED LUBE error message when you turn it on? Tyler at Sole service told me this is a software bug. It appears every 180 miles of usage, and it was really only intended for treadmills, not ellipticals.
You can clean and lubricate the rails and wheels - and you should - but the error message won't go away. Instead, you can get rid of it by resetting the odometer. First, press and hold the Start, Enter, and Stop buttons for five seconds to enter engineering mode. Use the arrow keys to select FUNCTIONS, then select ODO RESET and press Enter. Turn the machine off and on again, and voila, no error message.
Thanks Tyler! Happy exercising!
