HOW DO RESET THE HDMI INPUT? JVC , HD61Z456.

Set the remote to "TV" and 'VCR". Press the sleep timer once and "0 Minutes" will show up on the screen. Afterward, press and hold the "Display" and "Video Status" buttons simultaneously and then let go. A menu will show up on the screen, then press "#2" on the key pad. A new menu will show up on the screen, then shut the power off. I was told it could take up to 3 times for this to work. Hope this helps.

JVC TV LT-32G80BU can't navigate in menu + all channels messed up

TV seems to reset it's settings for some reason (it happened to me with similar TV - LT-32A80SU). I have found the way to solve this situation - service menu.

Press button "i" and "mute" on remote at the same time - service menu should appear. Now press 8 and there should be menu that allows to change few advanced features. Pressing down and up arrows allows to navigate, pressing right and left arrows changes values. You have to change "dual HDMI" to YES (this will enable second HDMI port) and change "remocon" to other option available (this will change how the remote behaves). Save settings by pressing OK button. Now you can leave service menu by pressing "i" button twice. You should now be able to use your TV like before.

Remember - these are instructions for my TV and they worked for me but playing with service menu can be dangerous so you're doing it at your own risk. Ask JVS support if you're not sure what to do.

HDMI input failure

Hey guys, had the same problem. Found this solution on the web. Worked for me.

JVC HDMI Port Fix

Turn the TV on, and enter the Service Menu. Select 2 for Self Check. Then turn the TV off, and after the fan turns off, unplug the power cord. Reconnect the power cord, turn the TV on, and the HDMI port is reenabled.

Here’s how to get to Service Menu:

Before entering the SERVICE MENU, confirm that the setting
of TV/CATV SW of the REMOTE CONTROL UNIT is at the
"TV" side and the setting of VCR/DVD SW of the REMOTE
CONTROL UNIT is at the "VCR" side. If the switches have not
been properly set, you cannot enter the SERVICE MENU.
1) Press [SLEEP TIMER] key and while the indication of
SLEEP TIMER 0 MIN is being displayed, press
[DISPLAY] key and [VIDEO STATUS] key (Fig.2)
simultaneously.
2) The SERVICE MENU screen of Fig.1 is displayed.
3) Verify what to set in the SERVICE MENU, and set
whatever is necessary (Fig.1).
Refer to the SERVICE ADJUSTMENT for setting.
4) Press the [BACK] key to return the SERVICE MENU.

This should work.
