I took me a few hours, but I DID remove all the screws holding the cloth parts in place, and wash it all in the washing machine. I bought a used stroller/carset travel system, and was prepared to accept the loss in case I destroyed it in the wash, or couldn't get it back together correctly, but all went well, and I have a fresh, clean, "new to me" stroller and carseat.

Strollers with detachable infant car-seat carriers extremely practical. In the first couple of months, your baby can sit securely in the infant carrier while you go for a walk.
