Motorola v3i i have a motorola v3i that only shows the phone number for incoming calls, not the callers name and pic..help...this is very frustrating..i can't remember numbers very well.. also, when i receive an incoming call the ringer id is not working either.. I have ny contacts in the phone memory, and the ringer id isn't working either. Also, about half of the caller id's come up names, the other half the number (which I don't want....)

You may need to reset and clear the phone then try again if that does not work then you can try a reflash of the firmware on the phone

You must have caller ID provided by your local phone company for Call ID to work. This is an additional charge on your phone bill.

Make sure you only have single entry for that person on your phonebook. Try to delete her or his name from your contacts to be able to know her duplicate.

Whenever i get an incoming call name of that

if the same no. is stored with two different names then it will not display the callers name.

you would have to saved the contacts on your phone memory then assign ringer id to them and pics as well.

Caller id Call Customer Service 1-8O5-465-751O To Fix Issue

First you need to verify if the caller id does that to all incoming calls, showing numbers only, or if it only does that to only numbers stored in directory. If it does that to all incoming calls then you need to check manual to see if there a setting to allow both name and number of all incoming calls. Either way you need to make sure caller id functions allows both name /number on display.
