I am not sure if it has been recalled, but it is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. KitchenAId used to be synonymous with quality, in my opinion, not anymore.

A $700 dishwasher shouldn't need the main control panel and module replaced 3 times in 2 years. This is a part that costs about $350 plus installation to replace.

The part almost always seems to be backordered and therefore you are without the dishwasher for weeks while one of these come in, then you have to wait for a service technician to install it.

What really annoyed me is that after a call to the "Whirlpool Cool Line" I still haven't heard what they as the manufacturer are going to do to make the problem right.

I had a better experience with the Sears customer service line, this is where I originally purchased the dishwasher. When I called their executive resolution team and they saw that this was the third time that this machine was being repaired for the same issue, they offered to replace the machine. Kudos to Sears! Their customer service in this case is as good as a Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, or Saks Fifth Avenue.

In my opinion stay as far away from this dishwasher as possible!

Complain complain complain to Kitchenaid. They know this is a design flaw and should recall this product! Kitchenaid used to be high end.

the problem is the same as maytags but it may not be a recall model . relay is white . the new style are blk . you can purchase the new relay kit.( what is a start devise .kit / changing it will solve the problem .. also you should contact whrlpool .. mm

My same microwave did this about a week ago... repair people said the part that surrounds a fuse had burned through. 350 to fix it, I am considering just getting a new one since I have now found that mine has had a replacement part fix done after a recall on this microwave. If you have not read the recall info you can find it easily by doing a search for Kitchenaid Microwave recall. There will be a small green square sticker by the serial number if yours had had the recall repair done already. Mine had but I still have had this recent problem even after the recall repair.

I have a kitchenaid oven # KEBC107KSS03. When I set the temp to 400 the buzzer goes off saying the temp has reached the desired temp, the temp is only 250 and will take another 20-30min to reach 400.
