You can try adjusting this to see if it helps.

you bought the wrong parts.
did you try suzuki first.
year, make ,model, GTI, and engine size. and type.
best is to use VIN to match parts. at the dealer.

post full model name, not just GTI.
and country.
cars are not all the same , in all countries, not even close.

Check/test the ignition pickup coil on the end of the crankshaft under the small cover.

The color is likely on the original registration, or might be linked to the vin number.

use a noid light to show pulse at plugwire,or just unplug a sparkplug wiire plug it to a extra sparkplug let it ground on metal(frame or engine) spin the engine over watch for a spark on the plug, red is a weak spark blue is good.

0DG rings a bell - "Saturn Black Metallic" - at least I think that what I remember it being. It was a fairly common metallic black for a few of the Suzuki range in the 90's (at least in Australia it was). The original colour should be on the vehicle build plate anyway.
