Adapter is used to connect memory stick to direct to your PC without any media like mobile or any other device. But through mobile you need USBcable of mobile to connect to computers or laptops. There is a new drive detected on your MY COMPUTER. Do the Copy Paste function to transfer the required files.

I have a 512MB sandisk memory card for my sprint

Take the SD card out of the phone, if the card is micro sd you may need to put the card in the adapter that usually comes with it. Next, insert it in the computer's memory card reader, then drag and drop you files and music onto the card. If you see a folder labled MUSIC, thats where the music would go, just match up the names.

Where do you put the sandisk into?

the micro SD(smallest) goes into the phone the other 2 are adapters, mini for older PDA's, the largest goes into your PC (usually on newer models), if the pc does not have a slot for the sd, use a usb adapter to transfer music

My LG VU CU920 keeps turning off

I had the same problem even after I exchanged the phone for a new one. The problem seems to be related to Mobile TV and the SD memory. When I removed my 2GB SD memory, the problem has not reoccurred. I recently installed a 512MB SD memory chip and so far I have not experienced the problem.

I bought a sandisk memory card to transfer music from my computer, but whenever i put it in the adapter and put in the computer nothing would show up to transfer music or things on it. i dont know what to...

if it is a 2GB device the computer is probably NOT assigning a drive letter to the adapter.
go into ur computer management utility. U should find the device there and that it does not have a drive letter. Assign one and it should appear in explorer after that.

SanDisk 2GB microSD error message - Disc is Write-Protected

Re-format it. Put the SanDisk 2GB microSD memory card into your LG enV2 and format it from there. If that does not work plug it into your laptop then right click the icon and format it to FAT and click on default settings.

Micro SD 2 GB just stopped working

The PIC or EEPROM inside these cards may not be working. I guess you best bet is to buy a new one try Kingston brand or go with another Sandisk.
