What you need to do is look at the plug on your sewing machine. Any cord that you purchase would need the appropriate plug that will fit the one on your machine. If your power cord also includes the foot control, you'll need to also be sure to get everything that is needed to run your machine.

Did you check the power cord both at the sewing machine and at the wall plug? Push them both in firmly. Check the power cord along its whole length to make sure it is not broken. Replace it if you find any serious rips in the plastic outer casing of the cord. No need for a special Husqvarna power cord - a small appliance cord with the same plugs at either end is all that is needed.

Did you hear a "popping" noise when the machine turned off? You may have a short in the transformer in which case it needs to go to the technician.
