Technika lcd42 207 stuck in burn mode red blue green screen repeating over and over no other functions

Do a hard reset to this set, and check. Unplug the TV from AC wall outlet, and re-plug it back after 20 minutes or so. This must make it a hard reset. If it do not help you, you have to enter its service mode option, to release the burn in mode. To get more details, http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Since you are very unlikely to find one from Technika I would search the internet for a universal or generic one.

I have a Technika 32-2011 which is approximately 7 months old. The TV is, for the most part working fine. The TV has regularly updated late at night - when it does this the blue stand-by light/orange on...

There are two methods to reset. To make it a hard reset, unplug the set from the AC mains wall socket and reinsert after an hour or so.
To do a factory reset you have to enter it's service mode option. If you wish to get more details, visit the site linked here. Service mode entry procedure of many popular brand sets are given. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Be very careful with service mode option, and make sure to set the TV to normal mode, after all adjustment have been done.

Faulty technika tv

A good way to test if a remote is working is to get a normal phone that has a camera on it.

put the camera option on the phone and point your remote at the camera phone. Press the button you believe to be faulty. whilest looking through the phone. if you see a little white light the button is working fine if not try a few of the other buttons to see if its the hole remote that is at fault.

the way this works is camera phone's dont like IR (infrared) so this will show as a little white light on your camera phone.

if it is the remote you could always buy a sky digibox remote. as the Default code will work your Technika tv. ie volume, channels, power, also the help button will change your source/av on your telly.

Hope this helps
