Code for my 27" Phillips Magnavox TV

I would suggest buying a universal remote control and see if it has the codes for a phillips or Magnavox TV. If you can't find a code in the literature of the universal remote then try using the codes found on this site:

Unfortunately this is not a digital TV, so you will need a digital cable box in order to watch the digital format cable channels on this set.

1. Turn on the TV

called my daughter and she was able,to find code out for 27" Magnavox/Phillips...its 0054....worked the first time on the large I think "living Solutions" remote for the elderly....

for the phillips and magnavox tv sets the code is 0711, then open the menu setting restet the code to something easy to remember , or what i would do is completly disable the child lock by going to that option in parental settings.try it hope it works!

any magnavox controler will work just put in some good batteries . lots retail wholesale stores like walmart carries magnavox tv remotes but make sure its a magnavox.

generally philips code is press 0 6 2 5 9 6 followed by MENU BUTTON
