Does it have a primer,to prime about 3-5 times,it may be bad, sucking in air and not supplying gas to carb, replace, they are inexpensive, home depot or lowes should have or look up on line, but you may have to pay shipping.

Starts fine, run fine, for about 2 to 5 min.,then cuts off, sounds like it's not getting the gas.

I have a Husqvarna 125B same problem. Turned out to be a bad gas cap. Doesn't vent properly and starves the engine. I took the gas cap off of my Huqvarna weed eater and put on blower and blower worked fine,

Why does it idle fine and then when you give it gas it boggs down

A two-stroke engine idles because a very small hole behind the throttle plate lets a tiny amount of gas through to keep the engine running. At full throttle the air moving through the carburator pulls gas through the venturi vaporizing it. With the motor at idle, if you give the motor full throttle very fast the first charge or two that get into the cylinder are almost completely fresh air with vary little or no gas mixed in. It takes a revolution or two for the motor to pull air through the carburator fast enough to get a fully charged mixture of gas and air into the cylinder so you get full power. This effect is especially pronounced when the motor is cold, the gas doesn't vaporize as well when the motor parts are cold. If you give it throttle slowly or let it warm up the effect should go away.

My echo backpack leaf blower pull start seems stuck it wont crank

Without getting to involved with it, did you always mix the correct fuel/oil ratio? or has someone else possibly put straight gas in it without oil? Another possibility is that the recoil could be broke. I would try to determine if the piston is seized in the cylinder. First remove the spark plug and try to pull the starter rope while listening closely for any strange noises from the engine. If it pulls fine then, replace the spark plug and try to start it again. If that doesn't work then I would remove the back cover and remove the muffler so you can look at the cylinder. You will need a phillips screwdriver and a set of metric allen wrenches. Hope that helps.

Homelite 26 BV Gas Leaf Blower

sounds like you had fuel leak into the cylinder over the winter. The liquid in the cylinder is what made it so hard to pull that first time, as it won't compress like air. What you do, is take the spark plug out, pull the starting rope several times, dry off the spark plug, and let both sit(plug out of the cylinder.) for a couple of hours. Then put the plug back in, put the wire back on it, put it on full choke, and pull until it hits once. Then put it on half choke, and pull til it starts.

Leaf blower was running fine yesterday. It stopped and I assumed it was out of gas. Gas wasn't the problem but I did empty it out and out in fresh gas. It just will not start. I've checked for spark and...

Your gas mixture may have been too lean. If the fuel lines and fuel filter are in good shape. It could need a carburetor rebuilt to get it going. I would first get a compression check on the cylinder. If the compression is not at least 100 psi, I would not spend another penny on it.
Good Day.

Will not start

Pull muffler and check for carbon in cylinder port and muffler screen. Check piston and cylinder for scratches.
