I have a Panasonic Viera TH-L32S25A and I'm trying to watch a movie on a USB plugged into either USB1 or USB2. However, when I push the Viera Tools button on the remote, and select Video the screen goes black and after about a minute the tv appears to turn off and back on again, going back to TV mode. I've also tried the SD Card button, but no media is recognised there either. Is there something wrong with the TV or am I selecting the wrong thing to get the movie to play?

try bringing up the menu, and see if there's an option "factory default", and try that. you didn't mention what button on the remote you press to get rid of the popup, or what feature you are turning off to get rid of the popup,

Since the set is only 8 months old, it should still be under warranty. This may only be an internal connection problem, but opening up the unit will void the warranty. I would suggest that you call for warranty service. This is a problem with the set and has nothing to do with external devices or interference.

Hi to all, My 42" Panasonic plasma have the same problem. It turned itself off and now red light flashes 7 times, than after short pause 7 times again. And so on. Any ideas what is wrong??

You will need to count the number of red led blinks on the power indicator, if it is at least 10 then replace the power supply it is faulty, In my years of servicing panasonic Plasma, power supply failure is about the most common failue in this class of television from this manufacture.

First, try using a different USB stick. If that doesn't fix the problem then your new tv is either faulty or the tv operating system has a bug.

Check the LG website in your country to see whether there are any firmware updates available. If not, then return the tv for refund or exchange, but make sure to try your USB drive on any replacement set in store as it's highly likely to be a bug in your model which will affect all of the other examples as well.
