Want to log into my account but it keeps on referring me elsewhere, please help

Hi Alfred

Sounds like your account could be hacked as it's redirecting you to another non-related site. Does the request bring up some sort of webpage ? Whatever you see on that page, it should tell you what email service it is... check on top of your address bar... look at the address and it will show you where it's coming from.

If it something not related to yahoo, google, hotmail, etc.. email service, your account has been hacked and you willl have to contact your email provider immediately and tell them this may have happened. They will block that email account and allow you to create a new account. Hope this helps

How can I stop an unknown person using my hotmail account to send spoofing emails to my contacts

It sounds like one of two things. You either have a virus or someone hacked your account. If you're certain you are virus free then just change your login password to you hotmail account.

I got a virus which has blocked my account and deleted my address book. I am not receiving any emails from anyone who was in my address book. How can I get google to investigate and rectify?

Are you saying Google has now blocked your account due to this "virus"?
Have you made contact with anyone in your address book and see if they have received any infected e mails? If so they may have blocked your e mail address. As for Google personally investigating? You would have to send the a report and see what they may do.
How did you get infected in the first place and has your system been cleaned?

My hotmail email is block how to unblock

Microsoft will sometimes block your Windows Live Hotmail account if the company suspects you have a compromised or hacked account or if you have incorrectly entered your password multiple times when logging in. If Microsoft has blocked your Hotmail account, you can unblock your account by resetting your password.

1.Open a Web browser, and navigate to account.live.com/password/reset.
2.Enter your Windows Live ID and the security verification code and click the "Next" button.
3.Select the "Security Question" option.
4.Answer the security question you created when you signed up for your Hotmail account.
5.Enter and confirm the new password you want to use to access your Hotmail account and click the "Continue" button.
6.Go to the Hotmail homepage.
7.Enter your Windows Live Hotmail address and password and click the "Sign In" button to open your Hotmail account. You have now unblocked your Hotmail account.

I hope the step helps you. Thanks.

My hotmail account has been blocked

I would get another one or contact Hotmail support for blocked email support and solution, please read below for another option if you just cannot get another account and have to have the old one.

Hotmail accounts do not get blocked unless the account has been used to mass mailing or other illicit use. If you did not mass mail or other illicit behavior, I suggest that your account was hacked.

If your MSN/Hotmail Account has been hacked!

If your MSN Account has been hacked, go to MSN email support:
https://support.live.com/eform.aspx?productKey=wlid&ct=eformts&scrx=1

You have to give all information about your problem and about your identity:
* Your e-mail (the "Windows Live ID").
* Your first name and full name.
* Your date of birth (month / day / year).
* Your country.
* The state, province or department in which you reside.
* Your zip code.
* The IP address of each computer used to access your account, or the most commonly used. To find your IP address, visit : http://www.monip.org/
* The answer to your secret question (if you don't remember it, notify it).
* Emergency address email registered for this account (if no emergency address, notify it).
* Your Internet service provider (at work or at home).
* The date and approximate time of your last login.
* The information below:
o For Windows Live Hotmail user :
? Examples of files names which you created in addition to those existing by defect
? Examples of contacts contained in your address book.
? Examples of old email titles contained in your inbox folders or messages.
o For Windows Live Messenger user :
? Examples of contacts contained in your contact list.
? The nickname under which you appear on Windows Live Messenger.
VERY IMPORTANT ! Write your request in a clear and understandable English, avoiding the SMS language, spelling and abbreviations !

Remember and do not forget that this is the only way you can expect to recover your account!

A colleague of mine had his hotmail account hacked and the password changed and the hackers sent out an email to his contacts requesting $ to get him out of a jam!...needless to say, he can't get into his...

All I can think to do (Besides calling Microsoft who currently owns hotmail), is to tell hotmail that you password. If he has another e-mail address he may have put this information in when signing up for his hotmail account. If he tells hotmail he forgot his password, they should send it or a new password to his other e-mail account. If he did not provide them with another account I reccomend calling microsoft.
