How to lock a unlocked gsm motorola V3x to my service provider(suncom)

How to lock a unlocked motorola V3x to my service provider(suncom).Suncom is my cellphone service provider which uses GSM 1900 & i just bought a unlocked gsm that supports GSM 1900.Everytime i put my sim card in it says "searching for network" and i dont get any reception.Is there any free software i can upload to my phone to lock it to the suncom system and where can i get it?

    I bought a motorola v50 and it says invalid sim and then to unlock special code. I am on 02 and they said they have not locked it so i dont know which network its locked to

100% that it matters if your phone is T-Mobile and your provider is Suncom. The phone has a TMob. firmware installed in it, so it is configured to TMob. infrastructure....in other words, TMob does not a Web Session. It might have something similar(parameters) that MIGHT work on Suncom, but that's a guessing game...

As for the Unlocking part, it just means that you can put a Suncom, or any other SIM card and it would work...(mainly for voice calls). Try to find a phone Flashing shop and have it flahed with Suncom's firmware.

I would like to unlock my Nokia 6085 phone. I just swithched from AT&T to Suncom and my phone gives the message to enter Restriction Code when I put the Suncom Sim card in.
Try online at www.mobile2mobile.net or www.unlockitnow.com , take it to a mobile service center and have it unlock for a fee.

Which phone do you have? You should be able to Suncom's website and activate it right online.. If not you can take it to any Suncom store and tell them to activate it or call your CS and tell them the same thing.. At& T runs on the same technology as Suncom so there shouldn't be any issue
