Down load software smart label 200 - Seiko Smart Label 240 Thermal Printer

In the SmartLabel directory under Program Files look for a file named label.sll This file holds your SmartLabel 100 addresses. After installing your new SmartLabel printer, copy the label.sll file into the new SmartLabel directory under Program Files. When you open the SmartLabel software, if you don't see your addresses, you may have to use the Import command on the label.sll file to bring your addresses into your new SmartLabel Application

Seiko has really downgraded its legacy product support and it has minimized its application and driver software available for download. To find software for your SLP 200 you'll have to good to a third party site like Drivers Guide. The link below is for version 7.0.3

Important tips when finding and downloading application/ driver software from non-OEM sites

1. Never install any application from a non-OEM site that says it will scan your computer to determine what files you need. - search using the manufacturer name, model number, and current operating system on the computer you want to install the device on.

2. Only install the files you found. Never download any software suggested.

3. When installing the downloaded files, always select Custom Installation to make sure you only install the software you need. In this case only the application and driver files, nothing else ( no driver updating, security scanning, toolbar, etc. programs).

In the specific case of the Seiko Smart Label printer make sure your printer is not hooked up until the Seiko software tells you to.

I think you're out of luck. The latest driver I could find is 6.9.0.385, you can find it at the site below:

This is a third party site, Seiko has removed all legacy support from their site. It was really only written for Windows Vista but people found it would work for Windows 7. Given the major structural changes in Windows 8.1 I don't think the legacy software will run in a Windows 8.1 environment

However, Seiko has deleted its legacy printer support so you will have to find your 220 drivers from a third party site. The 220 is pretty old so you need to use an older driver and it may not support newer operating systems

First of all I want to know this problem is occurred first time? If

yes then uninstall the software and restart your machine. Then install

again. Hope so your problem will be solved. Otherwise you should

download Smart Label v7.0.3.418 and try to install the new one.

Re install the driver. Download this Driver Update Software for XP Vista 7 8 and update. I hope this helped

unplug your Smart Label Printer (slp430) from your pc,

go into your control panel, then to add/remove programs.
remove the slp430 software then reboot your pc.

DONT PLUG IN YOUR SLP430 yet...

reinstall the software that came with the label printer.
follow on screen instructions.

plug power in for the printer
then attatch to your pc.
