Hello there I have written a list of codes that should cover your problem nd give you some idea what to check ok
E1 or E2
Thermistor
Failure
The dryer
will not operate if the exhaust temperature drops below
18 degrees F. or exceeds 250 degrees F.
When the thermistor circuit is open (>50K ohms), the error
code E1 flashes in the display.
When the thermistor circuit is shorted (<500 ohms), the
error code E2 flashes in the display.
Normal thermistor resistance values:
60 degrees F. - 15.3K ohms.
70 degrees F. - 11.9K ohms.
80 degrees F. - 9.2K ohms.
E3
Touchpad or
Software mismatch
Flashes when
there is a touchpad or software
replace the compressor "compressor relay and the compressor overload" that are on the side of the compressor.
location: should be in the back on the bottom behind the panel.
if you have a circuit board they may need to be replaced as well.
To unlock the Control Locked feature:
Press and hold the End Of Cycle Signal buttonfor 3 seconds to turn this feature off.
NOTE: When the dryer is running and Control
Locked light is on, the dryer can be stopped by
pressing the Pause/Cancel button, but cannot
be restarted until the control is unlocked.
If this worked for you don't forget to give me a ranking. Thank you!
An E1 error message usually indicates that the thermistor (see the
following link) is defective and needs to be replaced. Without that
part working properly, the electronic control could do unexpected
things.
E1 error code indicates an open thermistor or open thermistor circuit. A thermistor is a component that relays the temperature in the dryer to the control board. If the thermistor has failed, Error code E1 will be displayed.
You need to call a repair person to fix it.
Most customer manuels have a code listing in the back? Have you checked to see what E1 is? It sounds like its not sensing properly. the sensor works off the vent...so the most common problem is the vent or venting. Please check and advise
gives me code e1 and will not operate
