Installing Hawking HOW2R1 Repeaters is simple according to some but our IT guys are having problems. We have 3 repeaters which can't seem to communicate with each other. One plugged in works somewhat ok, but just try to plug in one of the other 2 and everything is thrown off line. Installing was a real pain and they still don't work as we were promised. Isn't there a better way where everything works together and is easier to install? Very disappointed with product.

Hi there,

What are you using it for, as a repeater or as an access point?

Is the Access point connected to a modem? can you please try to check if you'd be able to connect bypassing the Device and directly connecting the device to the computer?

When you try to connect to it does it give an IP address?

Wish to hear from you soon.

Thanks!

Installing a hawking HOW2R1 Repeater and setup requires a security key; where do I find this?

The Setup Wizard will now prompt you to automatically
configure your IP settings (recommended) and enter a
security key if the network you are connecting to is an
encrypted network. Enter the key and click Continue.
If you do not know the security key of the network you are connecting to, consult your network administrator.

You might want to move the router to another location where more signal can sent. Routers are also the infamous for overheating, which might be in many cases.
