What can be done to fix a Pinnacle Speakers FRONT ROW PBAR 6200 175 Watt 8-Element Soundbar with Virtual Surround Sound Feature when the device turns off on it's own?

This issue can be caused by multiple problems. You could have intermittent DC Offset(a damaged amplifier), a microprocessor(computer inside your sound bar), poor solder connections, and on and on. You're absolutely correct. This is not a DIY type of repair. If you're interesting in having it repaired, please visit my website, at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there. Thank you.

Can not get any sound from the rear speakers when i select 4 speakers but there is sound from the simulation

The rear speakers will only activate when there is sufficient surround sound signal being sent to them by the software, therefore if you are not hearing anything in the rear speakers at the time there is no "surround" signal being sent to the speakers. There is usually some virtualization / spatial settings you can set in the control panel of the card, that will help simulate surround and send some signal to the rear, expecially in winamp, or media player.

When I play a DVD in the system I can only get the surround sound out of the speakers but no voices. If I play a CD or hook it up to my tv everything is ok.I have tried a number of DVD's and all have the...

sounds like you need to surround modes. There is usually a Stereo, Dolby, DTS, "virtual surround", 4-speaker mode etc..
When you play a CD or connect to TV it likely defaults to playing stereo or virtual surround.

With real surround, almost all of the voices are coming from the center-channel speaker (normally placed closest to the TV).

Also, check to make sure the center channel is connected properly.

Center speaker and wireless rear speakers have no sound

I had the same issue, but apparently...it's not an issue. What I discovered is that the system was fine, but the station I was watching didn't broadcast in 5.1 surround sound. Therefore, only the front speakers will have sound. Try putting a dvd in, or listening to a gameing system through it. If you don't have sound after listening to something that puts out full surround sound, then you know you have an issue.

Rear speakers no sound

you have to have it set to one of the sound settings to get surround sound , and if what you have hooked up does not have a digital connection ( optical or coax) you can not get dolby digital surround either
if it is the stereo your listening to then set a sound to get virtual surround sound ( unless you have a digital tuner that supports digital signal input

No surround sound

if the unit has no digital dvd 5,1 input it will not play 5.1 output, unless the unit is switched into a virtual surround mode(theatre/etc) mode try with a new dvd film with a digital glassfiber cabel if it shows 5.1 on the display of the receiver. if it shows 5.1 digital surround than the end stage of your surround is blown and needs to be replaced
