Frontload Washer won't spin or wash.

My frontload only fills water but will not wash or even turn for that matter. It does drain but not spin. I've checked the pump and found no clog. I think it could be a defective motor, module or timer? Any suggestion's?

What it really was is my speed control PC board.
I found out that this control gives the command to the timer as to what action it needs to take. Once I changed my pc board, it started to turn/spin. Thanks anyway for your help!

awhile ago we had a tech come out because of the machine making noise. I'm not sure what he did, but I do know that when he was done the machine was as bad or worse. I examined the machine and found the left side shock disassembled from the cabinet. Had them come back and the next guy was much more thorough and conscientious in putting everything back together.

A few months later the machine stopped working...it would fill but that was about all. After the fill cycle the timer would not continue to advance. My wife noticed the tub being cocked and the large door gasket appeared quite crinkled. When I took a closer look, I noticed the tub motor lying on the base of the cabinet. Looking for the cause of this, we found the upper tub support spring on the left side (same side as the unassembled shock) was broke. I think the shock having been detached for a period of time contributed to failure of the upper tub support spring, hoping that was the cause of our troubles, but the tub still doesn't do anything.

I suspect the timer, but I don't like guessing, especially when it's not even an educated guess. Can you lead me down the right trail to obtain success?

I have owned my four years and just now am having this same problem. It fills perfectly and drains the same but for the rest of the washing and agitation action it is lame. I do hear a hum noise as if the motor is running also.

Wshing machine keeps filling with water

You probably have a stuck fill valve. This is the part where the hot and cold water hoses connect. Just to be sure unplug the machine and if it still fills Remove and replace the fill valve assembly. Don't forget to unplug the machine and turn off both the hot and cold water supply valves. This is a rather simple repair.

My frontload washing machine fills water but then it will not turn.

I would check the motor. Sound like it may be at fault.

Do I need 2" drain for frontload washer?

not nessarily if your draining system can handle a non-efficent washer the old top load style drain 42.3 gal of water evey time it fills and for a complete cyc on the h-3 washer only 14 for a complete cyc. When the unit is in the high spin all of the water is already drained and what little water is spun out of the clothing in nothitng to worry about
