We just purchased a Kenmore Elite Front loading He5t washer and can't wash clothes. Everything we do results in an error code of F24 on the screen. According to the model number that begins with 110, it is made by whirlpool, but sold under the kenmore name. Any ideas of what the error code means and how to fix? Thanks
If it is not the plug at the bottom is ok and the temp. sensor is ok.Check the plug on the CCU on top mine was not even plugged in. When I plugged it in the washer started working. You have to take the top off to get to it,but it is easy. Three screws on the back top and the top will slide off easily. There is a troubleshooting manual in the front bottom panel on right side of panel. Page 10 troubleshoots the temp. sensor. The book gives you all the troubleshooting codes. The front panel comes off easily by unscrewing three screws on the very bottom of the panel.
I forgot to mention, my post includes the solution that worked for me which was to seat that temperature sensor plug I refer to - it works now.
We had the F24 problem and after 2 visits by Sears, I started reading. If the washer isn't getting enough water I decided it must be those blasted new fangled hoses. My husband took off hoses and reversed power washed them and viola. Fixed 1st time. Just happened again and took hoses off....... It's fixed again. Try this before spending lots of time, service calls and money on new parts. Lisa
I just ran across the same problem tonight with ours. Have had it less than a month, and went down to change the laundry and this code appeared. Can you help please?
Very easy solution!!!chat with me online and ill step you through it save up to $65 (my in-home rate in florida is $75!!!!!!!)
Buy a extended warranty dummies its cheap and you can then tell the wife there coming tomorrow to fix it then you can go fishing. Unless your like to spend your time on the internet reading these lies.,

Usually answered in minutes!
brand new Kenmore, which is a whirlpool, and I get F24.
Remove front panel (three torx screws), and find error codebook
taped to right side of case.
I noticed that a plug was not mated with its socket. As it happens,
it was the temperature sensor, and as it happens, f24 is
out-of-range reading from temperature sensor.
So, I suggest you F24-people strongly seat the temperature
sensor plug. on mine it is front center, and it plugs into a metal
plate which is on the bottom of the barrel which is holding the water.
washer will run for about 40 minutes then error code F70 appears
Kenmore elite model 11045862402 code f 07 what does that mean
