Got P207460004 motherboard; can't find driver!

I've been told to install the correct AGP Bus Driver for non-intel chipset motherboard; This driver is required for the graphics card (Tornado GeForce MX4000 3D Accelerator) to function correctly with the motherboard.

Thanking all in advance.

Pci flash memory driver comes under

A) Chipset drivers

Unless there is a specific driver listed.

To explain;

You have a motherboard chipset on your motherboard.
The technology used on the Lenovo 3000 C100 Notebook PC, for it's motherboard chipset; is a Northbridge chip; and a Southbridge chip.

[The motherboard chipset is an Intel 915G Express, that is the Mobile version,

http://ark.intel.com/products/27733/Intel-915G-Graphics-and-Memory-Controller

This motherboard chipset has a Northbridge chip, and a Southbridge chip ]

CPU = Central Processing Unit. Another term used is Microprocessor, or simply Processor for short.
Does not mean PC. Personal Computer.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Motherboard_diagram.svg

The Northbridge chip handles the Faster capabilities of a computer.
Processor (CPU), Ram Memory, and HIGH-speed graphics.

HIGH-speed graphics is the AGP technology, and the PCI Express technology.
It is NOT a graphics card inserted into a PCI slot, nor is it Integrated Graphics.

The Southbridge chip handles the Slower capabilities of a computer.
Anything connected to the;

PCI bus
Integrated graphics.
IDE bus
SATA bus
USB bus
Ethernet
Audio (Sound)

Tell me website for Motherboard Sound Drivers for

Your motherboard's Sound Driver is Realtek High Definition, you can download it from this link http://www.download3k.com/MP3-Audio-Video/Encoders-Decoders/Download-REALTEK-High-Definition-Audio-Driver.html But this isn't only the required driver to run your sound card there's another driver called UAA bus driver for high definition audio. If you haven't installed it, you can do it from here; http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/OTHER-SOUNDCARDS/Microsoft-UAA-Bus-Driver-for-High-Definition-Audio.shtml. You have to install the UAA bus driver before you install the Sound driver, otherwise your sound card will not be detected. Good luck

Can you help me about my pc problem???

Khiej,

It is likely that the Drivers for your Chipset have either NOT been installed or have become corrupted.

Below is a link to the driver page for your motherboard..
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=1758

On that page you will see a category of "Chipset"
If you have the 32bit version of Win XP SP2 then select the 2nd driver. If you have the 64bit version select the 1st driver. If you are not sure the most likely one would be 32bit.

Install theses drivers.
While your on the driver page. Get the "VGA" drivers for Windows XP (This is likely to be your 2nd "Unknown device")

OK heres why the chipset drivers are important. There are sub procecessors on the motherboard called the "Northbridge" and the "Southbridge" processors. The act kind od like traffic cops for your Main CPU. They allow data traffic to pass from the various devices on your computer. Without the Chipset drivers the Southbridge which controls the AGP/PCI bus for your computer has trouble talking to the CPU. Therefore anything attached to that bus doesn't work quite right (That would be your Sound, Video and Peripherals(USB's))

So now that we know whats going on. The fix is to install the drivers in this order.

1.) Chipset (Opens up the AGP/PCI bus so the devices communicate) After this is installed Windows MIGHT detect the other 2 and install them right away. If not continue on.

2.) VGA (These allow your video card to work to its fullest potential. Out of the box the Video card can work in plain vga mode and display the basic information. The VGA driver allows it to step up to SVGA mode (Super Video Graphics Array) allow it to show higher screen resolution and color depth)

3.) Realtek audio driver. (This one allows your on board audio processor a path to talk with the "Southbridge" chip)

Once these are all installed you should have everything up and going. If there are any further error markers (The yellow ! ) then comment back to me with your results and I will get you going.
