The thermal fuse has opened. Unfortunately, its likely that the ventilation system of the TV has been blocked by dust or other foreign matter. The cyclone fan mounted above the lamp housing is prone to this type of accumulation. Check for evidence of overheating in the lamp, lamp housing, and especcially the red wires going to the lamp socket. If they appear scorched, its a safe bet it got very, very hot.
To bring this TV back to life a new fuse needs to be installed, all the fans need to be cleaned, the lamp ballast board may need to be replaced as well if the wires appear to be damaged. Also, if your lamp is not new, it should be replaced too. Botton line here is cost. If you call a service company out, expect to spend a minimum of $300 and as much as a $1000 or more.
Keep your eye out for class-action lawsuits being filed on these TVs. I've seen a few of these actually melt the plastic lamp cavity to the point where it may catch fire.
