Garmin NUVI 660 BlueTooth
I had the same problem, and this is how I fixed it. Now it's working fine.
Thank you for contacting Garmin International,
If
you are currently running the most current version of bluetooth
software, and you are still seeing issues where your compatible phone
is still not connecting properly, please try the below procedure, which
will reinstall the version of bluetooth you have downloaded in case
there was any corruption during the transfer or installation of the
bluetooth version.
1. Power the unit on
2. Touch View Map
3. Touch the ETA/Speed button in the bottom left hand corner.
4. press and hold your finger over the speedometer for 10-15 seconds until a new screen appears.
5. Touch next at the bottom of the screen until the top blue banner reads Bluetooth Status.
6. Touch UPDT P, then Touch yes.
7.
At this point the unit should go to a page that says Updating Bluetooth
Firmware, allow this to finish, once finished, press quit, then press
and hold the back button. At this point, go back through and try to
connect your Bluetooth device again.
I have the same problem it says updating bluetooth firmware 0%
i CANT BYPASS IT AT ALL TO FIXIT.
The Updating Bluetooth Firmware message comes on as soon as I turn the GPS on and it is stuck there.
When ever I try to enable the bluetooth on my C550 I get the bluetooth enabling screen and sits there. It won't go past and I have to turn the unit off then back on to use it. Does anybody know how to fix this?
i have the same problem with the screen getting stuck on "enabling bluetooth." did anyone get it fixed??
the exact same problem!!!!!!
Have the same problem enabling bluetooth. Enabling screen stays on. Contacted Garmin tech support and was email backdated .GCD file to install and forced the recognition of the new file. Bluetooth still not working. Tried this method a second time with Garmin support with the same results. Updated the software with Garmin Web Updater, no luck with that process either. Tech support unable to resolve the issue and I have been referred to Garmin Software Support.
My phone had been connected but garmin is disabled and when you try to enable it it sticks on the screen and you have to shut it off to reset.
One day, My Garmin all of a sudden gave me a warning saying that the pass code for bluetooth connection is 1234 and clicked OK. Next time I started my garmin, the blue tooth stopped working. I try to enable the bluetooth from the Settings. The screen says Enablibg Buetooth and freezes.
Could anybody get it solved
