Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "KingstonSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.
Hello Sir, hi, We don't have such a problem with kingston drives the driver is already built-in XP, my guess is that your laptop is infected by a malware type of virus. So have it checked by an Anti malware scanner (We use ad aware, download free from download.cnet.com)
You MUST get a driver for Win98SE if NOT Win98SE it will NOT ever work. Also 4GB is Too Big for the operating system to handle, Win98SE is only a 16 BIT computer. It cannot "Count" up to 4GB worth of address space biggest that can be used on Win98SE is 1GB. get one that will work, and install the Win989SE driver that comes with the unit or download from Kingston web site.
Go to the web site, http://www.kingston.com , and select support. From there choose Flash Drives and pick the specific one you have. They do not have Win98SE drivers for their newest pendrives. I checked several different models and found slightly different drivers so I can't be of more help without more information.
The driver you need depends on the model pen drive you have. Kingston's product page is here. Pick the drive you have from the pictures and you'll find the driver you need. Note that not all drives have Windows 98 drivers available. If this is a very recent purchase, your model may not work with Windows 98.
