I will help.
I am timer expert at fixya. Fixya answers question. We are not home depot or warranty carrier for grunfos.
Here are some ideas:
1) Buy another pump at home depot and return defect in new package
2) Talk to manager at Home Depot.
3) Check if outlet has power. Plug recirc pump into different outlet.
4) Check if override lever is set to OFF, because pump will not run when lever is in OFF position: Here is photo I took showing positions for lever:

5) These devices are prone to surge event. Nearby lightning strike can burn out any electrical device by energizing wires. The surge can follow any path seemingly random trying to find path down to ground.

Depending on the age of your heater, there were actually two recalls. One in 1985 and the most recent in December of last year.

If you can not find the exact parts, you can pick up a generic rubber foot from the Home Depot or even at Radio Shack. They will most likely have a self adhesive on them, but you may want to also add some electrical tape to keep them in place.

We have just recently purchased one of the American standard cadet at home depot from a discount flyer and had it for about a day and took it back.

We Did not notice Any thing like a strong flush.

RECOMENDATION:

Take it back.

Home Depot sells a Kohler Toilet 1.6 Gallon Flush Install
This is all it said it was. It saves water for sure and has a quick flush.

We liked it so much we purchased two of them because everyone in the house only wanted to using our bathroom.
