Connection The bought this MP3 player today and installed the software, but the player is not recognized by my computer or the software, and its says its charging, but isnt. when i put it into my Parents PC though, it works and charges and is detected. Will it be a setting on my PC thats stopping it connecting properly?

Actually, I don't have a solution. My mom bought one for me today. I connected it to my computer, and my computer recognized it. Then, I disconnected it. Some minutes later, I connected it again, to put music in it, and now my computer doesn't recognized it. I've tried with the on/off button, and it doesn't work.
This item is a USB2.0 device. Older computers use USB1.0 and new computers USB3.0. Depending on your computer age, this may not be recognized. I suggest you make certain all USB device drivers are up-to-date.
That Opal's Easy Rip Software does not recognize Real Video format naturally. You may have to download a free program called Riva FLV Encoder to convert the Real Video files to AVI format. Once they are in AVI format, the Easy Rip software will recognize the file and convert them to your player.
