SOURCE: Jazzy 1113 Power wheelchair. Batteries are fully

Yes, the main controller module can be very expensive to replace. I would take it to a reputable dealer if the battery replacement does not help.

Hi

Rapid flash of lights indicates a fault in the VSI or the electrical system. You need to refer to " VSI Error Codes" on page#32 of this User Manual:

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

SOURCE: Wheel broke of my Power Chair

I assume you are referring to the caster tire, not the drive tire. You will need to check to see if the rim is a split-rim or a solid rim. A split-rim will have 4 or more bolts holding the two halves of the rim together. If you have flat-free tires i.e., foam-filled solid tires, evidenced by the lack of a valve stem which is used to inflate non-flat-free tires (pneumatic), you would remove the wheel from the caster by rermoving the center bolt acting as the axle. Then remove the bolts holding the rims together. Reposition tire on top of one of the rim halves, then place the other rim half on top so that the bolt holes in the top one line up with the holes in the bottom one. You need to buy a couple of bolts that are about 3/4 in or more longer than the bolts that you removed, as you now must press the two halves back together and the stock bolts probably won't reach through. Put the two longer bolts in opposite of each other in two holes and tighten down. When the rims are pressed together, then put the stock bolts in, remove the two longer ones and replace with stock bolts. Place wheel back on the caster. If you have pneumatic tires (requiring air), make sure to always deflate the tire completely before attempting to loosen the bolts holding the rim-halves together. The same process is used for drive tire replacement. If the rims are not split rims, then it is easiest to buy an entire new wheel and tire as getting it back on is quite a chore requiring a press and lots of tequila! It's easy to break the rims. Good luck.

My pride jazzy electric powerchair will not unlock on one wheel, it only has one lever in back to release both wheels

Your jazzy chair should have 2 levers. There is a lever for each wheel. if the other wheel does not have the lever, then you are missing the lever that would release the wheel. Have a local tech look at it and they may be able to get the parts needed to release the other wheel.

Can't get front wheel off of chair to change tire

carlieo are you talking about the drive wheel on this chair? It is probably rusted on the axle shaft and will require some coaxing to remove. I use a tie rod end tool. slip it behind the wheel on the axle shaft and tap with a hammer to force the wheel off the axle. Take it carefully because you can damage the axle or gearbox. Spraying with a penetrant and letting soak then trying with the tie rod tool might help. There have been some that just won't come off and you might have to cut the tire and rim to get it off the axle. Sorry have no quick fix for this Good Luck

Wheel broken in back of chair

A good number of stores sell replacement wheels for rolling chairs. You could try any store that sells rolling chairs actually. Bring the broken wheel with you to make sure you're getting the right size.
