My DVD drives would not read DVD's. I downloaded Microsoft Fix It Center software and fixed Windows media player. I had corrupt files that would not let my drives read DVD's. After the corrupt files were fixed my drives work just fine.
Download the latest driver for your operating system and install it, the following web-link contains the page with all the drivers and resources for the GSA-H55N http://www.lg.com/us/support/product/support-product-profile.jsp?customerModelCode=GSA-H55N&matchedModelCode=NOT_MATCHED&searchEngineModelCode=GSA-H55N&initialTab=documents&targetPage=support-product-profile
Thats the message you get with a corrupt install or registry error. You should try an uninstall, then use something like Advanced System Care to clean up your registry. While you're at it do a scandisk to correct file errors reboot the PC and try installing again.
I doubt that you'll be able to getmuch support for a product that hasn't been released to the puiblic yet.
The edition you have will be a Release Candidate which was released to developers to find any bugs. The RTM has only just been released to manufatures so that they can develop the drivers for when it goes on general release.
your DVD ROM lens has became weak. and it cannot be repaired. But
if you manage to open the DVD ROM clean the dust in it & it will
start working again but be careful remember that no power should be
attached to ROM. or you can buy a lens cleaner from market and try that. pls rate my solution thankyou
Well, since I received a solution from MAXTRIXKHAN, I just wanted to check back with NCIX.com, and here is a recap of what I did, and what they told me...
