If watch expensive, take it to Shop to get it changed , if watch waterproof, it needs to be changed at a shop, as when battery changed , shop checks that the watch is still 100% waterproof.
Unscrew, then pull crown out 2 clicks. Spin crown, advancing hands clockwise. Keep turning until you notice the date changing at the 12 oclock mark. This is midnight. Then set time as needed. Push crown in all the way. Then pull out one click. Turning crown sets day of week and day of month, turning opposite way. Push crown all the way in and slightly depress as you screw it down until it stops.
If the reset procedure still fails on time and date set crown positions together with chronograph buttons, and the minute counter doesn't move even when the stopwatch runs, the following can be tried:
The minute counter's motor may be stuck. Swipe a magnet hence and forth in different directions close to the back of the watch until the minute counter moves. The other hands may also move, but they can be reset later. Continue swiping several times to loosen the motor. A sheet should be placed behind the back of the watch to avoid scratches. Once the motor is loose enough, it can be further loosened by using its reset button which will spin it around when depressed.
Turn the crown of the watch towards you until it pops out... After the crown pops out, pull on it to extend fully and you should be able to change the time at that point
If your Gucci watch is Quartz, or even Windup, it"s best to see a jeweler to identify any possible problem causeing the stem and crown to come out of the watch. Mike D 75
If yes, then the crown can be removed by appling slight pressure against the watch. The stem inside the watch is made of 2 pieces and the crown can be pulled out. But be careful, there are chances that the stem may break :-)
Do not be so afraid. Unscrew that big crown fully, pull off and then you will see the real setting crown(quite small one), called an underlayed crown. That little chain is hard enough to withstand your pulls, unless you are drunk. :))) When you get that small crown handy- you can set the time and all the features. If the small crown is not moving, your watch is rusty and you will need a proper watchmakers help. Don't forget to rate, please.
