Blows house trip when oven is turned on

I have a cannon henley 10588g cooker, dual fuel, it seems to have a full short some where as when I turn on main oven it blows house trip out, oven element seems ok and measures 28 ohms resistance, when I go across live and neutral input to cooker at back, it measures 56 ohms, there must be a short cct somewhere, but no signs of any burning at back with back off cooker, and now when I turn it on, with oven element disconnected, and main oven knob set to off, the oven fan and light come on as soon as cooker is turned on

Here is a diagram showing how the range receptacle should be wired. I would begin by checking there.

Cannon DUAL cooker - bottom oven is not working

Replace the faulty element.
Possibly around £18 for a universal element, plus fitting. Should be no more than £65 with callout from a domestic appliance repair centre.
